BACKGROUND ON ARTIST/ALBUM:
Alias Empire are a Dublin based four piece whose music
blends electronic/dance, programming and synths
with live percussion, vocals, bass & guitars.
The band’s sound spans genres, ranging from
quiet and intricate to loud and direct, paying
attention to clever song writing and innovative
use of technology. Their self produced music
has garnered much critical acclaim, including rave
reviews and a Choice Music Award nomination for
their debut album 'Unexpected Falls'.

Renowned for
their blistering audio-visual live shows, they
have captivated audiences across the UK and Ireland
as well as the rest of Europe and the US, having
played CMJ (New York), Popkomm (Berlin), Oxegen & Electric Picnic. They have also featured
on the Irish TV show ‘Other Voices’ and
their music has been played across alternative
and electronic shows on Irish radio.

With a UK release of 'Unexpected Falls' due later
this year the band are busy working on new material.
They are currently preparing to take to the road
again armed with a new arsenal of songs and a rejuvenated
energy and drive. The new material will feature on
their second album slated for simultaneous release
in UK and Ireland in 2010.
