BACKGROUND ON ARTIST/ALBUM:
Tickety-Boo is Colm Lynch’s second album following
on from the well received A Whisper in a Riot.
Tickety-Boo was recorded and mixed over a fifteen
day period in Beechpark Studio in Rathcoole. It was
produced by Colm Lynch, engineered by Daire Winston,
mixed by Ger McDonnell and Mastered by Ryan Smith
at Sterling Sound in New York. It's been three years
since his first offering, A Whisper in a Riot received
widespread acclaim and his return showcases a new,
even bigger sound from the Dubliner.
Quicksand the first single from the new album
is released to radio at the end of August.
Colm launches the new album Tickety-Boo on September
25th at The Village. On the night, Lynch and his
eight piece band will unveil songs from the new
album Tickety-Boo as well as performing a host
of fans favourites from his first album. Special
guests on the night include The Last Tycoons and
newcomers Arrow in the Sky.Anyone expecting to
see a singer-songwriter soulfuly whispering into
a microphone should think again. This will be a
fevered, rock n' roll affair.
